Susan Vega performed at a public radio industry conference (not the hippest gig) a few years back and was mesmerizing. She also hosted a public radio series called American Mavericks which I confess I never ended up hearing, probably because it wasn’t carried in Boston (perhaps time for PRX long tail revival?).

Anyway, procrastinating on other work and browsing YouTube I came across a composite of a virtual Vega appearance in Second Life on the Infinite Mind public radio program (they evidently were inspired to be the first radio program to set up shop in Second Life after attending the Beyond Broadcast conference we helped organize last year).

Kudos to the Infinite Mind for taking the leap.
