“”People love it when their song comes on,” Mr. Massey said. “Even if they can play it on demand, they love the fact that, hey it’s the only thing being played now, and everyone hears it at the same time.”" – recent NY Times gadget/media piece.

I’m in San Francisco for this Innovation Funders Summit , where I’ll get an opportunity to talk about PRX and “the evolution of participatory media”.
This is mainly a gathering of funders to talk amongst themselves but they bring in some fundees (I don’t think that’s the official term) to discuss projects.
Looking forward to meet some of the other participants.
More soon.

Update: Rebecca MacKinnon has posted an excellent summary of this event.

At least I’m flirting with the idea. I’ve been drinking from the RSS firehouse with a bloglines account , tagging things with a del.icio.us account , and generally using all the hip cool new tools of the trade.
But so far no blog other than occasional group contributions to the PRX blog .
So I’m going to give it a whirl.
